14 content rules that I don't follow

What would happen if you considered all the content “rules” to be more like guidelines instead? AKA what if you decided you DIDN’T need to follow them all and did things your way?

Just a thought…

Things that are innumerable:

— 5AM morning routine videos on YouTube.

— Healthy snack recipes involving ingredients you can barely pronounce. (Exactly how does one say “acai”?)

— Opinions on who played Mr Darcy better. (Ok, ok. This one is easy. It’s obviously Colin Firth.)

— Content and social media “rules” that you’re supposed to follow.

Psssh. So. Many. Rules.

In this video, I’m sharing the content “rules” that I don’t follow.

And to keep this video from getting too long (seriously. I couldn’t stop brainstorming them all!), let’s stick to the 14 content rules that I most definitely break.

The goal of this video is to help you think a little broader than the advice you typically read in those Content Marketing 101 posts.

What works for one person may not work for you. And that’s ok.

The creative + content journey is different for everyone.

(And yes, YOU are creative. You make things/content/programs, don’t you? You make things + that makes you creative.)

Content’s more fun when you do it *your* way.

Create your own list + pair it with the Content Her Way Manifesto to guide your way and avoid the dark side of sameness.

You got this.
